Dear David, D.D, happy memories, friend of the family for many years.The children fondly remembering early days at Ryde Junior School. Our sons Ben and Nathan both taught by David, his brand of humour bringing lots of fun to the classroom. On the sports field the youngsters inspired by David's great knowledge of sport, team spirit and the will to succeed always encouraged. Water sports in later years, more fun and greatly enjoyed at David's windsurfing school. At school and the beach Solo, D.D's lovely black labrador constantly at his side. Very sad day when Solo departed this world. Along came Rory and joy once again for David. Brought into the garden one day as a beautiful puppy, he grew handsome, strong and devoted to David who loved him dearly. D.D often spoke of his walks on Culver Down meeting other dog lovers. It is heartening to know that Rory is being loved and continuing happy romps on the Downs with his many friends. David will be smiling down with Solo, peacefully resting together.
